The Thano range is a small village located in forest Dehradun, block of Dehradun district in Uttarakhand. It is between Raipur and Bhainiawala Road to Jolly Grant airport.

It is a combination of riverine Forest, agricultural field, scrub jungle and orchards which increase the diversity of birds.

Often seen in these parts are Black-Headed Oriole, Maroon Oriole, Indian Pitta, Drongo Cuckoo, Red-Collard Dove, Velvet-Fronted Nuthatch etc. birds are found in Thano.
